NEW DELHI: As Indian counterpart Narendra Modi grew ready to leave for India, Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Al-Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah made a rare and heartfelt diplomatic gesture at the airport to say him well. With bilateral trade reaching USD 10.47 billion in 2023–2024, Kuwait continues to be an important economic partner for India. 3% of India’s energy requirements come from Kuwait, its sixth-largest supplier of crude oil. Kuwait authorities in India give US$10 billion to India.
