A Delhi-based mobile accessories brand owner faced criticism after sharing his experience of delivering an order and his reaction when a customer mistook him for a regular delivery agent. Akash Bansal took to X on Monday to recount his cash-on-delivery experience in the capital.

In his post, Akash Bansal shared that his company recently handled a ₹3,200 cash-on-delivery (COD) order. Noticing that the delivery address was just 10 minutes from his office, he chose to deliver it himself.

Upon delivering the package, the woman at the address gave him ₹3,500 in cash and instructed him to keep the change. Bansal noted, “The excitement level went from 100 to 0 in a flash.”

He mentioned that he allowed the woman to keep ₹500, and they both ended up pleased with the exchange. Bansal recounted her reaction: “She said, ‘Why are you guys so fast? I’ve always wanted this; glad it happened today.

Notably, Goyal had also taken on the role of a Zomato delivery executive on Friendship Day last year.
