It’s interesting to note that in a message published on the social media site “X,” the Global Times particularly referenced India.

The tone of the Global Times, traditionally critical of India, has softened recently. Gradually, China has begun to acknowledge India as a significant global power.

China leads the world in production.

In terms of manufacturing production, China leads the Global Times list with $4659 billion. According to the post, with $247 billion in manufacturing production, America comes in second.

The third position is occupied by Germany with $845 billion, followed by Japan in fourth place with $818 billion, and India in fifth place with $456 billion.

France is ranked ninth, Italy is ranked eighth, South Korea is ranked sixth, Mexico is ranked seventh, and Brazil is ranked tenth.

China has been forced to become “soft” by the Indian army’s hard posture against China following the battle of Galwan and the Indian-Chinese forces’ fight.

China’s official newspaper, the Global Times, unabashedly complimented India and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, even in January 2024. India is the world’s power that is expanding the fastest, according to a Global Times story. The article outlined India’s accomplishments over the previous four years, emphasizing the country’s robust economic growth, advancements in urban governance, and adjustments to its foreign policy, particularly with China.
