Pakistan Faces Global Embarrassment as Sudhanshu Trivedi Exposes ‘False Propaganda’ at the UN
India has once again responded strongly to Pakistan at the United Nations (UN), though this time not through an administrative officer or diplomat. Instead, Rajya Sabha MP and BJP leader Sudhanshu Trivedi took the floor. Addressing Pakistan’s ongoing misinformation about Jammu and Kashmir, Trivedi emphasized that such false narratives would not alter the truth.
During discussions on peacekeeping missions in the UN General Assembly, Pakistan again brought up the Jammu and Kashmir issue. Exercising its right to reply, India stated, “Pakistan is once again attempting to distract this UN institution from its agenda. But Jammu and Kashmir was, is, and will always remain a part of India.”
Trivedi continued, “The people of Jammu and Kashmir recently exercised their democratic and electoral rights, choosing a new government. Pakistan should desist from its unfounded statements, as these will not change the reality.” He added that out of respect for the distinguished members of this UN forum, India would refrain from further responses to Pakistan’s breaches of UN protocol.
Trivedi highlighted that this democratic shift in Jammu and Kashmir is possible due to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s robust foreign policy, showcasing India’s strong and respected position on the world stage. Sudhanshu Trivedi is part of a team of 12 MPs engaged in discussions on various issues at the UN.
